We all talk about burnout, we all know how it happens and why, and yet, most of us get singed despite our best efforts.
Our January speaker will look at this hot topic from a poetic, archetypal, systemic, practical, and candid point of view, keeping in mind the micro and the macro dimensions of this complex and universal issue.
Marilyn is a practicing LMFT and clinical supervisor, and serves as adjunct faculty at Pacifica Graduate Institute and Antioch University, as well as the Events Director for SB-CAMFT. She has degrees in English Literature and Theater Arts from CSU Fullerton, and Counseling Psychology from Pacifica. Prior to moving to Carpinteria in 2014, Marilyn spent over 15 years in community mental health settings while navigating several journeys into and out of burnout.
